About Eric Rottcher
I am a painter and collage artist, currently working from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I have recently found some success in the art world by selling paintings and mixed media collages to collectors, both across the United States and internationally. I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Aesthetics at Shippensburg University and earned my BA in 2011. During my time in college, my mother suffered a brain aneurysm and two strokes. This experience effected my attitude toward art and my plans for the future. I subsequently stepped away from the art world after graduating, and struggled for many years with depression and substance abuse.
